Step-by-Step: How to Submit Your Essay
1. Confirm how many assessments you have left
You can see how many scored essays remain in your account by starting a writing practice session. The number of essays left for grading will appear below the area where you write your essay. You can also purchase more writing assessments if you run out.
2. Write your essay
During your practice session or mock test, write your Task 1 or Task 2 essay.
3. Check the “Grade this essay” box and click "Submit Answer"
Only check the box if you want your essay to receive a grade and feedback. For normal, ungraded practice, leave the box unchecked.
4. We'll start grading your essay
After submission, we'll send you an email to confirm that we received your essay. We'll start to grade your essay, and within 48 hours, you will receive a writing assessment score report . The report includes grades broken down by scoring category and tips for improvement in each category.
